🗣 Reflections from the Co-Founders

“Impact might look like someone feeling more confident navigating a complex system, or a small organisation gaining the resources they need through a conversation with us to progress their work, or a community group understanding the legal framework they’re operating in more clearly. Sometimes it looks like the space to voice the idea that you’ve been cooking up, or a safe space to discuss the injustice or harm that you’ve experienced, or simply building trust where there was none before.”

⚖️ What We Do

We offer strategic, values-aligned legal expertise to community organisations and movements—focusing on groups historically excluded from legal and funding systems.

In 2024, 71% of our legal support was provided entirely free of charge.

🧱 Our Model: Community Lawyering

In 2024, we launched our foundational report: “Community Lawyering: Building an Ecosystem of Legal Support for Grassroots-Led Social Justice”

In it, we introduced 8 guiding principles focused on solidarity, equity, and knowledge-sharing.
